This past week Country Music Minute had the opportunity to sit and chat with one of Nashville’s biggest sweethearts, Lena Stone. A lover of all things pink, she is the ‘girl next door’ that you instantly could see yourself becoming best friends with from the moment you first meet her. She has worked the past five years co-writing and penning songs for other artists and is the co-anchor for one of Nashville’s most significant writers’ rounds, Song Suffragettes, an empowering platform for women in country music.  Stone is making her mark with the recent release of her self-titled debut EP which features five heartfelt tracks including her brand new single “Running Out of Red Lights.”

In a town full of talent, Lena Stone is definitely one you should keep on your radar.  You can listen & download her EP here. The next time you’re in Nashville make sure to check out the Song Suffragettes on Monday nights 6:00 PM at The Listening Room Cafe.
