Country Music Minute has had the opportunity to speak with many amazing singer-songwriters but there is nothing better than getting to chat with local North Carolina talent. Logan Robinson, a North Carolina State University graduate recently caught up with us during his last visit to Nashville, Tennessee to talk music and balancing being an artist while also pursuing a bachelor’s degree in political science. You may think a degree in political science and songwriting have nothing in common, but for Robinson, it wasn’t so much about the degree as it was the college experience. In fact, it led him to write and produce his very first single, “Boat Docks” which reached the top 10 on the New Music Weekly main country chart and gained him recognition for “Breakthrough Artist” of the year. The song, a soundtrack to Robinson’s summers spent on the lake with good friends, a six-pack, and a bonfire to cap off the evening is the perfect tune to add to your party playlist. Check it out here…

As for Logan Robinson, new music is in the works and I think you will be hearing his name more frequently on a radio station near you. STAY TUNED!
