Sunday, June 10th country music fans from all over gathered at the Hard Rock stage in downtown Nashville, Tennessee to listen to some of their favorite artists, and one of those just so happened to be Josh Mirenda.  It may or may not be the first time you’ve heard of this young man, but I bet you’re familiar with a couple of his smash hits.  He’s penned songs for Jason Aldean and Dierks Bentley including his number one single “Somewhere On A Beach.” Country Music Minute had the chance to catch up with Mirenda before hitting the stage to play at CMA Fest for the first time as a Solo Artist.  We learned a lot about the songwriter now turned Artist and where he was at when the song idea for “Somewhere On A Beach” was born.

Mirenda dropped his debut EP in early March which includes his new single “I Got You.” I believe country music fans will be hearing more from this artist for years to come! For music and tour dates check out Mirenda’s website HERE.
