BRAD PAISLEY TAKES OVER RENO, NEVADA ALONG WITH OPENING ACTS: LINDSAY ELL, CHASE BRYANT AND DUSTIN LYNCH
Brad Paisley Weekend Warriors Tour made its way to Reno, Nevada with Lindsay Ell, Chase Bryant, and Dustin Lynch. Opening act Lindsay Ell new Canadian country music singer and guitarist from Calgary, Alberta. Lindsay introduced herself well, it was her first time performing in Reno, Nevada. Surprising the audience with performing a cover of The Beatles “Come Together” and making it her own. Closing her set with country funk favorite “Champagne”. Next was country newbie Chase Bryant performing songs off of his self-titled EP along with singles “Hell If I Know” and “Room To Breath”. Bryant also took time to recognize the ones who served our country, whose family members who have and preached “we don’t care of your race or beliefs or ect.” He wanted to make sure all knew for just one night we all can take care of each other and be “one”.
Now came the time for Country Music Heartthrob and definitely a fan favorite Dustin Lynch. Dustin sang songs from his current album “Current Mood” to his self-titled debut album from 2012.
Starting off the night with “Last Time For Everything” along with mixing in corus of Prince’s “Purple Rain” in reference to lyrics in “Last Time For Everything” – “Last time for everything, hearing Prince sing “Purple Rain”. Memories were souring with all the hits Brad performed such as, “Online”, “She’s Everything”,“Waiting On A Woman”, and “Then”. The most important parts of the whole concert were Paisley honoring Nevada Guard’s Men for their service during song “Love and War” off of his current album. Also dedicating song “Today” to all cancer survivors and Reno itself for coming out and joining him and his tour tonight. Towards the second half of the show Lindsay Ell, Dustin Lynch, and Chase Bryant joined Brad Paisley on stage for a few songs. The real crowd pleaser of the night was when Lindsay Ell joined Brad on stage during “Whiskey Lullaby”.
It wouldn’t be a Brad Paisley concert without a little “Mud On The Tires” and “Ticks” right? Well he didn’t disappoint. The night was full of hits and dancing for Reno, Nevada. He closed the night with “Hot For The Teacher” cover and “Time Well Wasted” featuring opening acts, Lindsay Ell, Chase Bryant, and Dustin Lynch.
One great night with some awesome Country Music!
